STATEMENT

What’s on your feet? Ever asked why? I do that a lot, because sneakers provide a remarkable insight into social dynamics of culture, trade, and industry. But after so many years the industry seems to focus so much on the next big thing, leaving no time to reflect on those cultural, historical, and personal stories. The sneaker community is fueled by more than fashion – it's driven by untold stories. The people involved in the sneaker community, the thoughts behind the invisible details. If I don’t look for those stories, then sneakers are just mass-production and a waste of time. I hope to give you this needed time to be present not for the hype, but to fall in love with the story.
